Hoeing inside the row
with INVERA

Our INVERA regulates weeds precisely and with millimetre
accuracy between plants with flying in-row tools and AI

We present our latest development in mechanical weed control, the INVERA in-row cultivator, a milestone in efficient and reliable weed control. INVERA will be unveiled to the industry for the first time at Agritechnica in Germany, demonstrating how intelligent camera technology and precise hydraulics are redefining the future of weed control.

Camera with artificial intelligence

The AI-supported camera reliably recognizes single plants and precisely distinguishes between actual crops and weeds. The system continuously learns – the more images are collected, the more reliable the recognition gets. Thanks to its convenient internet connection, new models or crops can be quickly uploaded at any time. We also offer a clear practical advantage with our optional remote support: fast, efficient, and location-independent assistance.

Hydraulically driven hoeing blades

One camera on top of each crop row controls the hydraulically driven hoeing blades, which work from both sides into the row and hoe out weeds between the crops. The robust hydraulic control system is durable, maintenance-free, and responds in fractions of a second. This means that the safety distance to the plant can be reduced as little as one centimetre, depending on the crop, working speed, and soil conditions.

Two models for different requirements

Einböck Michael explains our latest development in detail: “The INVERA was developed specifically for professional use in arable and vegetable farming. It combines our well-known hoeing technology components with state-of-the-art software and camera technology as well as extremely powerful hydraulic drives for the hoeing blades.” Our CTO adds that there are two different models available – the “flying” AIR hoeing element with a linear motor for automatic height control without wheels, ideal for vegetable growers, and the PLUS hoeing element with feeler wheels for working widths of up to 6 m or 20 ft and up to 12 rows.

Expandable and versatile

“The PLUS element can also be equipped with cutting discs and SECTION-CONTROL, designed for sugar beet or pumpkin crops and large areas in general,” adds Einböck Leo, CCO. Finger weeders or special, indirectly spring-loaded row weeders are available as trailing tools. The in-row hoeing technology is complemented by classic ultra-flat duckfoot sweeps, which enable full-area hoeing between the rows. For precise working depth control, a chassis with air wheels or special rotative stars for bed tracks is available as an option.

“With the INVERA in-row cultivator, we combine precision, robustness, and digital intelligence into a practical solution for farms that want reliable, durable and professional technology,” explain our managing directors. “With our modular in-row hoeing technology system, our services quality, and over 45 years of experience in mechanical weed control, we are the partner of choice for both small vegetable growers and larger arable farms,” the brothers conclude.
