Because of the narrow construction of the Einböck-linear-sideshift frame the centre of gravity remains very closely to the tractor.
This construction offers the following advantages:
- reduced axle load on the tractor and therefore reduced soil compaction
- the wider the construction of the sideshift frame, the higher the load on the rear axle and the lifting power requirement of the tractor increases
- the extremely narrow construction of the Row-Guard moves the centre of gravity only 20 cm to the rear.
- Machines with parallelogram shifting extend the position of row-crop cultivator up to 80 cm and more to the rear.
- especially when fields are not straight or in hilly conditions the short construction is a big advantage

The hoeing section of the CHOPSTAR 5-90 has 5 tines for a row distance of up to 90 cm. It is very well suited for corn sunflower, etc.

The hoeing section of the CHOPSTAR 10-150 has up to 10 tines for a row distance of up to 150 cm. It is very well suited for pumpkin etc.

The horizontal disc is mounted at the parallelogram with shearbolt overload protection. The full element has a horizontal disc with ø 350 mm, the half element has a horizontal disc with ø 250 mm. Different diameters of horizontal discs are available on request.

The hoeing element consists of two vertical cutting discs followed by two angle knives. The result is a very narrow hoeing strip and the hoeing can be done at a very early stage of the crop growth and very narrow to the crop.

The working depth of the hoe element can be adjusted through the spindle of the Farmflex feeler wheel. The tension spring and the adjustment bracket control the downforce of the parallelogram.

Preconditions for the use of the ROW-GUARD camera steering system
Tractor linkage:
- Linkage cat. II (for version SR and SRHD Cat. III)
- Fix lower linkage (working side bars!)
Hydraulic:
- 1 single acting hydraulic valve with permanent oil-flow and pressure-free return line
- For a pressure-free return line a ¾ “ quick lock valve on the tractor is needed
- For the side-shift of the frame a constant oil flow of only about 15‑20 l/min is needed – tractors with higher capacity should have the possibility to limit the oil flow to this amount!
- It would be advantageous if the linkage can act independently of the hydraulic control valves (important when lifting and centring of the machine at the end of the field)
Electric:
- 3-pin constant electric socket (12 V)

The ROW-GUARD camera steering system guides hoes precisely, even in high speed. Via a control unit in the tractor cabin the precision guidance system can be adjusted comfortably. The picture captured by the camera is being analyzed on spots with a high concentration of green pixel. With help of the available information about row configuration of the crop (row spacing, number of rows, etc.) a raster is put on top of the picture. This data builds the basis for the information provided to the offset frame which guides the hoe exactly in between the rows.
