P-BOX for catch crop sowing

With the P-BOX-MD or the P-BOX-STI it is possible to seed all standard seeds and their mixtures up to a size of 5 mm. Depending on the seeding rate and - speed it can be set to anywhere from 1 kg to 300 kg per hectare by a simple adjustment. The seed is conveyed pneumatically via hoses to the distribution plates which spread the seeds precisely. Depending on the version of the box the metering roller is driven by an electric motor or mechanically by a flexible cable with various ground drive variants.

Breaking of crusts and crumbling the soil
The ROTARYSTAR with its rotating working tools (finger stars) has a great benefit: it will break up crusts caused by rain very effectively and get crumbled. The capillary action is broken and the topsoil is aerated. This promotes tillering and produces loose soil (prevention of evaporation). To achieve the best possible result, the machine should work as soon as possible after the rain (the soil can even be a bit dark/damp).

With its rotating working tools (rotary stars) the ROTARYSTAR is a reliable tool to break hard crusts caused by heavy rain. The soil is aerated and plant growth is supported. Extreme productivity can be achieved with a high operational speed between 12-25 km/h - 7.5-15.5 mph. The ROTARYSTAR can work in various crops.

Also in mulch-till-crops the rotary hoe operates very efficiently, as the working tools do not collect residues. The stars are pre-tensioned with springs and mounted on 1.5 m / 4.9 ft wide, 2-row sections. Via a hydraulic parallelogram the pressure on the sections can be adjusted during operation.
