The effect of the hydraulic pressure is a smooth operation in high working speed. The working pressure of the section can be adjusted from the tractor. Furthermore, also the pressure regulation in uneven fields for all sections is an equal tine pressure.

Folding joints ensures optimal terrain following

The folding joints consist of a hardened bolt with 35 mm (1.38”) Ø and brass bushings which can be greased. By changing the position of the stop bar the wings can even go down. As a result not only the tine sections but also the heavy levelling boards follow the surface.

The line spacing of 2,5 cm is very important for the quality of the operation result. 60 tines on 1.5 m / 4.9 ft working width make a static line distance of 2.5 cm / 1“. Only this distance will provide the desired effect of efficient weeding.

The tines are fixed against rotation by sturdy plastic mounts on the tine fields. This guarantees a tine that is aligned exactly in the working direction. The spring coil of the tine is mounted freely below the tine holder. This improves the vibration of the tine and guarantees the movement of the tine by the spring. A breaking of the tine is almost excluded since the movement of the prong is not limited.

tine 490 mm/19.3“ long, Ø 8 mm/0.31“ (serial)

In middle or heavy soil, the tines with 8 mm (0.31”) diameter and 490 mm (19.3”) length should be used. These tines are the most common ones in grassland care.

In heavily felted grassland or extremely heavy soil, tines with 10 mm (0.39”) diameter and 490 mm (19.3”) length need to be used. These tines are ideal to fight common panicle in the summer.

For stony soil, in order not to bring stones to the surface, we recommend the straight tines with a diameter of 10 mm (0.39”) and a length of 490 mm (19.3”). Tines adjusted “dragging“ protect the turf in wet or boggy grassland.

The PNEUMATICSTAR-PRO-MD is constructed as professional/pro-machine for Grassland restoration. The machine has 3, 6 or 12 meter working with and a extremely solid construction. A heavy levelling board which is overload-protected by springs, levels molehills in front of the support wheels. It is adjusted “on hold”, which lifts the soil and spreads it loose in the turf. Pores in the soil are not smeared up!

As the support wheels are behind the levelling plate the machine works very smoothly with a high working speed.
