The JUMBO-STREAM front tank for liquids offers efficient solutions for combined weed control. In combination with the proven CHOPSTAR row-crop cultivators, the front tank enables effective mechanical weed control that includes hoeing and simultaneous band spraying or fertilizing.

Combined weed management - reduction of application rates
Stricter regulations protecting plants, more frequently occurring resistances, reticense from the population – solutions are being sought to reduce the use of plant protection products. The system of mechanical-chemical weed management using a band sprayer and row-crop cultivator meets all these requirements. Application rates of plant protection products can be reduced by almost 70 %.
Hoeing is economical & ecological
Hoeing is becoming increasingly important in conventional agriculture. The classical row crop corn benefits from the highest yields. Hoeing breaks up crusts and increases soil aeration and the mineralisation of nitrogen. The only risky area of weed control is where the plant grows. The localized application of herbicides or pesticides is justifiable for this zone only.
Reduce labor costs
The combination of the bandsprayer and the row-crop cultivator cuts labour and fuel costs considerably. Instead of 2 passes (one with bandsprayer and one with the row-crop cultivator), only one pass suffices.
Promote biodiversity - protect & conserve groundwater
The combination of hoeing technology and concentrated application of pesticides on only 20-30 % of the surface leads to a significant added value for the soil, the flora and the groundwater. The risk of contamination using pesticides is minimized, those are only sprayed where mostly needed: Within the crop row.
Efficient distribution of liquid fertilizers
The combination bandsprayer and row-crop cultivator sprays the fertilizer exactly where it is mostly needed: Just beside the crop. The nozzle is mounted behind the sweep enabling full intake of the agents for the crop.
Individual adaptation to the row-crop cultivator
The mounting kits allow individual adaptation to fit row-crop cultivators from 6 – 18 rows.

Each JUMBO-STREAM is individually adapted to the row-crop cultivator and configured accordingly, guaranteeing compatibility and operational reliability. The combination of JUMBO-STREAM, CHOPSTAR row-crop cultivator and camera steering system ROW-GUARD provide a powerful and effective solution for weed control in row crops.
Intuitive ISOBUS command
An ISOBUS control is provided for the front tank JUMBO-STREAM. An existing ISOBUS terminal can be used to command the JUMBO-STREAM, therefore saving you money as well as additional values of the ISOBUS command already in use.
Automatic washing program can be operated from the cabin
Flushing with clear water, optimized tank filling and emptying of the tank make the JUMBO-STREAM the perfect device for combined weed control.
Comfort through single nozzle activation and SECTION-CONTROL
The individual command of each nozzle is standard allowing to switch on/switch off each nozzle as needed. The control system can be automatically controlled via GPS and the ISOBUS function SECTION-CONTROL (optionally available). With driver-comfort in mind is enables precise work right up to the edge of the field. Asymmetric fields are not a problem anymore!
