The blade cultivator TAIFUN is a multi-purpose, highly efficient machine. It is a classic machine for seedbed preparation due to its high and spacious frame construction – especially for areas with catch crops and winter greening. The incorporation of liquid manure and organic fertilizer, as well as light and shallow stubble turning or second stubble cultivation and the combat of couch grass are ideal jobs for the TAIFUN.
Due to the ultra-flat cutting with duckfoot shares at a line spacing of 15 cm / 5.90", the TAIFUN blade cultivator is the perfect machine for a successful first mechanical weed control. The many possible combinations (e.g. shares, rollers, trailed weeder tines, support wheels, etc.) allow the blade cultivator to be optimally adapted to many different conditions.
15 cm / 5.9'' line spacing: 60 cm / 23.6'' tine distance
Frame clearance up to 580 mm / 22.83''
Double drag tines
Working depth easily adjustable via half breadboard
Large selection of rear rollers and trailed weeder tines
The photos and illustrations show possible variants and some special versions. The factual machine configuration may differ from these illustrations.
Advantages
TAIFUN
A real "all-rounder" - the TAIFUN blade cultivator:
Incorporation of catch crops: Full-surface, clean and flat undercutting of winter-hard or non winter-hard catch crops (cover crops, intercrops; greenings) as well as perfect uprooting.
Seedbed preparation: A perfect structure of coarse and fine soil ensures ideal conditions for germination, as well as a safe and uniform emergence.
Stubble cultivation: An ultra-flat stubble cultivation and scalping of the whole surface, stimulates lost crop seeds to germinate.
Seeding of catch crops: With the second cultivation, catch crops can be sown simultaneously using the pneumatic seeding box P-BOX.
Regulation of deep rooting and seed weeds - "glyphosate replacement".
Incorporation of slurry, "fake" seedbed, and much more.

Overlapping duckfoot sweeps = across the whole working width
If a full width cutting of the soil is requested, optionally available duckfoot sweeps provide the necessary overlap at a line spacing of 15 cm / 5.90". For example, the 200 mm / 7.87" sweeps guarantee an overlap of 50 mm / 1.97" (33.3 %) (see graphic). There are also 240 mm / 9.45" duckfoot sweeps with an overlap of 90 mm / 3.54" available. Due to this generous overlap the whole field is cultivated during shallow operation and emerged weeds are mechanically regulated.

100 % even tine distribution
An even tine distribution ensures work without clogging, a cutting of the full surface and a smooth tensile behaviour.

2 folding cylinders
Two folding cylinders provide a triangular strut and even folding on both sides. This is useful in hilly terrain. Both cylinders are latched by lock-blocks.

Working depth precisely adjustable
The working depth of the blade cultivator can be adjusted via bread board on the parallel guided trailed weeder tines. Additionally the working pressure of each roller or the angle of the trailed weeder tines to the soil can be adjusted with a spindle. All the pressure is on the rear roller. The machine works very calmly because all the weight of the cultivator is on the rear roller unit.

Tool-free adjustable and spring-mounted double drag tines (standard equipment)
Double drag tines guarantee an even levelling between the last row of tines and the rear rollers or weeder tines. This is an advantage because the rear roller can evenly recompact the soil contact over the entire working width. They can be dismounted without tools and kept safe directly on the frame.

Better mixing, self-cleaning and soil extraction of the weed root. Creating an optimal soil structure (fine soil – heavy soil)

Carbide metal sweeps for Herkules tines offer a lot of advantages
The sweeps remain longer in their usual shape, resulting in a precise cut and good move even on dry ground
Service life is considerably increased – especially in soil conditions with above-average wear
Less traction required due to sharp sweep tips
Time saving due to unnecessary changes of sweeps

Spring Tine Vulcanus 50 x 13 mm / 1.97x0.51", clearance 525 mm / 20.67"
The spring tine Vulcanus (standard) is made from 50 x 13 mm / 1.97x0.51" spring steel. The frame clearance is 525 mm / 20.67". The spring tine is for light up to medium-heavy soil and for seedbed preparation after ploughing. For this operation duckfoot sweeps can be mounted optionally. The strong spring tine Vulcanus, made from high-quality spring steel, which is mounted on four beams, is designed for long service life.
Narrow share
The narrow share (standard equipment) is 53 mm / 2.09" wide and is recommended for operations deeper than 10 cm / 3.90".
Duckfoot sweep
The duckfoot sweep with a width of 200 mm / 7.87" is suitable for full area cutting in low depth.
Both shares are 6 mm / 0.24" thick. The TAIFUN is also called spring tine cultivator.

F: Flat rod roller
Good crumbling on medium soil
R: Round rod roller
Good crumbling on medium soil and good load capacity on light soil
ST: Single-row weeder, ø 12mm / 0.47” incl. 4 rubber support wheels If you want to work without a rear roller, you can simply use following weeder tines instead. The working depth is then adjusted via 4 rubber support wheels (2 for rigid machines).
RP 47: Ring packer roller Ø 470 mm / 18.50" with spring stripper between the rings
The wedge-shaped reconsolidation roller compacts the soil in deeper areas and closes all cavities while the topsoil stays loose and is finely crumbled. Its high load capacity makes it suitable for all different types of soil. Spring scrapers between the rings help to avoid blockage.
FZ: Front flat rod – / rear serrated roller
Good crumbling on heavy soil
RZ: Front round rod - / rear serrated roller
Good crumbling on medium to heavy soil, good load capacity on sandy soil

The tine is recommended for heavy, but also stony soils, for seedbed preparation. For this operation a use of duckfoot sweeps is also possible.
The sweep is mounted with two bolts, this is a big advantage in stony and heavy conditions.

P-BOX for catch crop sowing
With the pneumatic seeding box P-BOX-STI all common seeds and their mixtures can be distributed very simply from approx. 1 kg (2 lbs) / ha. The seeds are pneumatically transported via hoses to the distribution plates, which spread it exactly. The seeding box is adjusted via an operating terminal in the tractor - the metering roller is driven by an electric motor.

Sweeps made of carbide metal for Herkules tines
The sweeps made of carbide metal for Herkules tines are optionally available as duckfoot sweeps 220 mm / 8.66” and as narrow shares 53 mm / 2.09”. The application of carbide metal plates and the special geometry of these sweeps increase the operating time and reduce wear.
