CHOPSTAR-TITAN

Clogging-free hoeing in organic material

We are expanding our range of hoeing technology with the new CHOPSTAR-TITAN high-residue row-crop cultivator. With this new tool, we are presenting an innovative solution for hoeing in mulch seedbeds with a high organic residue and in strip till.

A large sweep with cutting disc
The main working tool of the new CHOPSTAR-TITAN is a large sweep with a precutting vertical disc per hoeing element. “To achieve a flat and precise cut, the organic material must first be cut and the soil open. This allows clogging-free hoeing, even in dense or longer organic matter and under harder conditions,” explains Michael Einböck.

Stronger & more aggressive – same precision
To ensure professional working even under crusted or heavy soils, the parallelogram and hoeing element are more robust – without compromising on precision. The necessary down pressure is generated by two strong retraction springs, and in future, the downforce can also be achieved hydraulically if desired.

Two equipment variants are available: In tough conditions, a wide “TITAN” sweep is used centered to cut under the mulch layer, as well as the angle knife & cutting disc combination for precise hoeing along the row. As a second option, three vibro-tines with a width of up to 300 mm can also be mounted, which is particularly recommended for classic medium organic material like in mulch seeding.

The well-known Einböck hoeing tools such as finger weeders, hilling elements, ROW-GUARD camera steering system, SECTION-CONTROL parallelogram lifting, seeding units, etc. are of course also compatible with the CHOPSTAR-TITAN.

The solution for hoeing in mulch and no-till

“With the CHOPSTAR-TITAN, we are launching a completely new row-crop cultivator – specially designed for mulch and no-till with row distances of 45 – 80 cm / 15 – 30 inches. This is our response to the agricultural challenges of the future: hoeing in organically rich mulch, no-till or strip tillage,” says Leo Einböck.

The CHOPSTAR-TITAN enables efficient, precise, and fast hoeing even under difficult conditions and opens new possibilities for mechanical weed control in conservation farming methods. A larger pre-series will be available for the coming spring starting at Agritechnica 2025.
