sweeps & tines

Einböck special vibro-tines with duckfoot sweeps

Vibro-tine 40×12 | holder 35×11 | 80 mm to 300 mm / 3.15″ to 11.81″ wide

The Einböck special vibro-tines ensure safe penetration, high stability and consistent precision, especially in crusted and medium to heavy soils or in stony areas. All holders have a grid for easier depth adjustment. The holders are rounded at the front for an even better grip. The wear-resistant duckfoot sweeps are mounted with a single bolt, what ensures a safe fixing, but they still can be replaced quickly. Einböck recommends its special vibro-tines, which are installed ex works on most row-crop cultivators.

Standard vibro-tines with duckfoot sweeps

Vibro-tine 32×12 | holder 30×10 | 80 mm to 300 mm / 3.15″ to 11.81″ wide

The standard vibro-tines are used primarily in light to middle soils and ensure full-surface, ultra-shallow and safe cutting of weeds All holders have a grid for easier depth adjustment. The holders are rounded at the front for an even better grip. The duckfoot sweeps are bolted, which ensures a secure and firm hold, while still allowing them to be quickly replaced.

S-tines

With 100 mm / 3.94″ or 180 mm / 7.09″ duckfoot sweeps

S-tines with duckfoot sweeps bolted on from behind can be configured for deeper work (e.g. when incorporating fertilizer or slurry), for hoeing in medium to heavy soils, and for even better hilling.

Einböck-special-ultraflat duckfoot sweeps

For vibro-tine 32×10 or 40×12 | holder 30×10 | 80 mm to 600 mm / 3.15″ to 23.62″ wide

Extra-flat and hardened Einböck special duckfoot sweeps are available to enable the cleanest and most ultra-flat cut possible with the least possible earth movement. Like all Einböck holders, this one also has a grid for easier adjustment of the working depth and a rounded front. For even less soil movement, the holders are also ground at the front and welded to the sweep. This special ultraflat sweep is particularly recommended for higher speeds, in vegetables or grain, or for crops that are still small and sensitive to being buried.

Carbide metal duckfoot sweeps

For S-tine, standard and special vibro-tines

Carbide metal sweeps offer the following advantages:

  • Service life is significantly increased – especially in soil conditions with above-average wear
  • Time saving due to not having to change sweeps
  • Sweeps stay in their usual shape longer, thereby an exact cut and a good feed even in dry soil is achieved
  • Less traction is required due to sharp sweep tips, and the sweeps are also self-sharpening thanks to the beaver tooth effect
  • Especially recommended for contractors or big farms.

The bolting is the same as for the standard sweeps. Carbide metal tips or carbide metal plates are soldered to the special duckfoot sweep base bodies and then coated. The special Einböck carbide metal duckfoot sweeps are 100% compatible and adapted to all Einböck tines and holder variants – no tolerances and compromises in fitting accuracy.

Angle knives

For vibro-tine 40×12 | holder 35×11 | 120, 160, 200 mm / 4.72″, 6.3″, 7.87″

Straight (1) or offset angle (2) knives are available on request. They are cutting the soil near the crop row and guide the earth flow away from the crops. This way, weeds are cut as close to the row as possible, but the risk of them being buried is minimized. The unhoed area can then be worked very well by rear tools such as finger weeder or rotative weeder. To ensure that the angle knifes work even cleaner and safer, cutting discs can be mounted before.

Heaping shares

Spring-loaded heaping shares for vibro-tines and S-tines improve the heaping result. This is how the soil close to the row is heaped up more efficiently during a late hoeing pass (e.g. the last pass for corn or sunflowers). That way the plant and the roots are strengthened and even weeds in the row are buried.

Reinforcement spring

Reinforcement springs for 40×12 special vibro-tines and S-tines ensure that the sweeps/knives work better in crusty or heavy soils and in stony conditions. They also help when hoeing deeper.
