The GRASS-MANAGER-PRO is a grassland harrow for aggressive annual meadow maintenance without a seeding box. It was designed for grassland farms and machine cooperatives for economical and efficient weeding of meadows.

The advantages of
GRASS-MANAGER-PRO
Heavy-duty front levelling plates
A heavy-duty triangular front levelling plates in front of the support wheels levels out the mole hills. The soil is distributed evenly on the surface, there is no reconsolidation of the ground and the pores of the soil remain open.
Hydraulic pressure regulation
The hydraulic pressure on the parallelograms can be adjusted from the cab via the tractor’s hydraulic system. This means that the tine pressure can be easily increased or reduced depending on the soil conditions. The tine aggresivity is identical on each section over the full working width. The turf is opened – this helps to control the rough stalked meadow grass in summer. The hydraulic levelling system guarantees an equal pressure on each weeder section and the tines to follow the contour of the ground perfectly even in uneven terrain.
Parallelogram guidance
The hydraulic levelling system with parallelograms works very smoothly even when working with high working speed. The weeder sections are always parallel to the ground so all tines exert the same downwards pressure.
Perfect surface adaptation
The joints are equipped with hardened bolts and brass bushings which can be greased. The position of the stop bars change the setup of the frame – either it is rigid or the side wings can go down to copy the contour of the surface even better. Not only the tine sections, but also the heavy levelling boards can follow the surface of the ground.
Simple mounting of a seeding box
The P-BOX-STI or P-BOX-MD seeding boxes can be mounted on all tined weeders. In addition to various additional options for the seed drill, steps for filling are available.
With a mounted seeding box, the GRASS-MANAGER-PRO becomes the PNEUMATICSTAR-PRO
Exact line spacing of of 2.5 cm
The line spacing of exact 2.5 cm / 1” has a significant influence on the effect and quality of the operation. Tine fields with 6-rows with 60 tines on 1.5 m / 4.9 ft. fields ensure an effective and efficient weed control. A bigger distance between the tines will leave unworked strips where weeds will continue to grow and the turf will not be aerated.
Stable operation
Due to the solid and strong frame construction the operation of machine and frame is very steady, independently from the working speed. Also on hard soil the tined weeder can apply sufficient pressure on the tines without making the frame swing. In addition, the frame is designed to withstand heavy loads and many seasons of operation without any problems.
Guaranteed equal tine aggressivity over the entire working width
The tine tube is torsion-resistant and guarantees the same tine position and the same tine aggressivity over the entire frame length. This is particularly important in hard soil conditions.
Feeler wheels for smooth operation
Six feeler wheels behind the levelling plate guide the frame smoothly over the grassland with precise depth control and ensure operation without shaking of the frame even when working in high speed (8x for model 900).
Tine 490 mm long, Ø 8 mm
In case of middle matted grassland or middle soil conditions, the tines with a diameter of 8 mm / 0.31″ and a length of 490 mm / 19.3″ are preferable. (standard equipment)
Exact tine position & movement
The harrow tines are mounted to the harrow sections by plastic tine holders to ensure an exact tine position in driving direction. The spring coil of the tine is mounted below the tine holder to ensure free movement and vibration of the tine. In addition, the tines clean themselves due to the constant movement. A breakage of the tine is almost impossible, because the movement of the tine is not limited or restricted.
Tine aggressivity quickly adjustable
The aggressivity of the spring tines can be adjusted with a central lever per section in five different positions. The position can vary from dragging to “tip forward of the bend”.
Strong frame for long service-life
The main frame is made from 150x100x6 mm / 5.9×3.9×0.2” steel tubes and gusset plates reinforce heavily loaded spots of the frame.
Professional grassland harrow with 9 m
The compact 9 m / 30 ft grassland harrow with double folding frame and 3-point linkage, significantly increases the efficiency of grassland care without sacrificing maneuverability and flexibility. The centrepiece of the professional machine is the main frame with its perfect soil adaptation. This is extremely important, especially on hilly or uneven terrain, to ensure full-surface, aggressive and professional grasslad care.
Hardened bushings
Hardened bushings on the 3-point mounting ensure a long working life of the mounting.
Pneumatic seeding box
Tines 490 mm long STRAIGTH, Ø 10 mm
For heavily matted grassland or for middle to hard soil conditions, the tines with a diameter of 10 mm / 0.39″ and a length of 490 mm / 19.3″ should be used. These grassland tines are also ideal when used to control meadow panicle in summer.
Tines 490 mm long, Ø 10 mm (recommended)
For heavily weeded areas and stony soils, in order not to necessarily deposit the stones on the soil surface, we recommend these straight tines with a diameter of 10 mm / 0.39″ and a length of 490 mm / 19.3″. “Dragging” tines are gentle on the turf in wet or boggy grassland.
Front mounting frame
With the front mounting frame the grassland weeder can be used as a rear or front machine.
Warning signs
Warning signs with holder and LED-lights are available to the front as well as to the rear.
