The rotary hoe ROTARYSTAR breaks open crusts in grain, corn, soybean, beets, etc. with special rotating rotor stars. The perfect crust-breaker aerates the soil at up to 20 km/h, supports the crop and also regulates weeds in the germ tube.

ROTARYSTAR
- Specially shaped stars – Einböck in-house development
- Hydraulic pressure and level regulation
- Equal working depth of both rotor rows by parallelogram guidance
- Fingers with special spoon shape, individually screwed-on
- Individually suspended rotor stars
- Position indicator of stars
- Protection grid from stones and earth clods
The advantages of
ROTARYSTAR
Crusts are effectively broken
The “crust breaker” ROTARYSTAR with its rotating rotor stars has a great benefit, it breaks up crusts caused by rain and sun very effectively and gets soil crumbled. The capillary action is broken, and the topsoil is aerated. This promotes tillering and produces loose soil (prevention of evaporation). To achieve the best possible result, the machine should work as soon as possible after raining (the soil can even be a bid dark/wet).
Up to 35 kg / 77 lbs contact pressure per rotor star
To ensure excellent work results even in heavily crusted soils and under the most difficult conditions, the individual rotor stars can be hydraulically adjusted with a contact pressure up to 35 kg / 77 lbs.
Rotor sections parallel guided with hydr. pressure and level compensation
A hydraulically adjustable parallelogram allows the pressure on the rotor stars to be adjusted to the prevailing conditions during operation. In addition, this hydraulic system enables level compensation, so that on uneven fields, the working depth and working pressure are precisely maintained across the entire working width.
Specially shaped rotor stars – designed by Einböck
The individually suspended rotor stars are constructed to be extremely durable and to ensure optimal working results. It is important that each star is mounted on a separate holder, which increases the quality of work enormously, as each star works independently from the others. The high-quality bearings withstand extreme conditions and guarantee a long lifetime. The line spacing of the stars is 9.38 cm / 3.70” with 1.8 cm / 0.70” wide spoons.
Due to the spoon-shaped hardened and low-wear star-tips, crusts are broken and crumbled. The spoon can be individually easily changed and replaced when worn out. Due to their special shape they “shovel” very well, which very effectively digs out the weeds. In addition, the special shape of the spoons makes them work very gentle on the crop.
Additional effect of weed control
Since weeds are lighter than the raised clods of soil, they fall to the ground more slowly and lie on top after operation. They quickly dry up – regrowth is almost impossible.
Ideal for weed control in mulch-till crops
Due to the rolling motion the working tools do not collect residues – ideal to control weeds in mulch-till or no-till crops. The rotor hoe work in many crops such as grain, corn, soybeans, sunflowers, etc.
Rotor stars and spoons - designed by Einböck
The rotor stars are individually suspended with specially shaped, hardened and individually replaceable spoon-shaped star tips.
Position indicator for hydr. level control
A clearly visible display from the tractor allows the driver to recognize quickly the set working depth.
Protection grid
A grid protects the tractor from stones.
Double folding frame for 12 m / 40 ft.
The transport width of 3 m / 10 ft. is also achieved on the 12 m / 40 ft. model via a double folding frame.
Transport width of 3 m / 9.8 ft.
The hydraulic folding allows a transport width of only 3 m / 9.8 ft.
Pneumatic seeding box
Three different pneumatic seeding boxes are optionally available to seed catch or cover crops, undersown crops or small seeds. The P-BOX-STI is electrically driven, the P-BOX-MD mechanically (each with plastic or steel tank) or the front tank JUMBO-SEED also electrically.
Reinforced bearings
For large farms and communities, we optionally offer reinforced bearings.
Clips for special conditions
In light or sandy soil conditions, clips are offered for gentle working. This prevents the star tips from penetrating too deeply into the soil.
Warning signs with LED-lights
These are available to the front as well as to the rear. (Symbol image – variants depending on the design)
