The advantages of
MULTI-BOX
Many possible applications & machine combinations
Seeding, for example, cover crops, fertilizer, catch crops, winter greening, reseeding, or row seeding, etc.
Mounted on: weeder, row-crop cultivators, cultivators, disc harrows, rollers, rotary harrows, subsoilers, etc.
8/12/16 or 24 outlets
The MULTI-BOX can be configured with 8, 12, 16, or 24 plastic outlets. Since each outlet can be closed mechanically, either individually or in pairs, using sliders, the seeding box can be quickly and flexibly adapted to different areas of application and working widths.
Handling via SPEED-TRONIC Terminal or ISOBUS
The MULTI-BOX can be controlled either via the Einböck SPEED-TRONIC control terminal or via an ISOBUS system. The ISOBUS control system also supports AUX-N and TC-SC functionality. This allows selected MULTI-BOX functions to be conveniently controlled via a compatible joystick or terminal.
Many nice control features
- Clear and intuitive menu navigation
- Automatic calibration function (optionally with a calibration button directly on the machine)
- Automatic turning off of the seeding shaft at the headland
- Pre-dosing via headland management system
- Area and hour counters, seed library
- Many other customizable settings
- 15+ languages
- AUX-N & TC-SC functions with ISOBUS control
Since the substructure is made of stainless steel and the dosing units and tank are made of plastic, the MULTI-BOX is compatible with fertilizer as standard.
Quick and easy calibration test
The MULTI-BOX calibration test can be done quickly and easily. The desired seed rate is set precisely – for short setup times and accurate dosing in the field.
The drive of the seeding roller works in conjunction with various sensors and automatically adjusts the dosing rate to the working speed. This ensures that the set seed rate is metered precisely and evenly at different speeds. An agitator shaft also ensures that the seed flows continuously to the seeding shaft, supporting consistent dosing.
Different fan models are available depending on the seed rate. The airflow-optimized design ensures reliability in seed delivery even at wide working widths, with multiple outlets, and at high working speeds and seed rates.
The hoses, with diameters of 32 mm/1.26″ or 26 mm/1.02″, ensure a reliable flow of seed and guarantee smooth, continuous operation. Each hose in the MULTI-BOX has its own seeding roller with a separate section per hose. This allows the seed to be metered through the individual outlets and pneumatically conveyed to the respective spreading outlets.
Field beans, buckwheat, peas, barley, a wide variety of grassland and catch crop mixtures, oats, clover, gold-of-pleasure, flaxseed, lupins, alfalfa, poppy, oil radish, phacelia, rapeseed, rye, red clover, turnip, snail bait, mustard, soybeans, sunflowers, soy vetch, triticale, white clover, wheat, fertilizer pellets, and many more
The stainless steel distribution plates, together with the height adjustable splash guard, ensure precise seed distribution. The splash guard prevents seeds from bouncing upward and can be optimally adjusted to different seed types via a slotted hole. In addition, the angle of the distribution plate can be infinitely adjusted.
The seeding box MULTI-BOX can be easily and simply mounted on many Einböck machines as well as on machines of other manufacturers. For Einböck machines there are also mounting kits and steps for filling available.
350- or 600-liter seed tank
The elegantly designed plastic tank is available with a capacity of 350 or 600 liters. The screw-on, well-sealed tank opening allows for easy filling and refilling.
SPEED-TRONIC operating monitor in the tractor cabin
- 100% developed by Einböck & used in thousands of applications worldwide
- Large 5-inch colour display
- Haptic membrane buttons
- Terminal housing in protection class IP65 (dust and water resistant)
- High quality Sub-D-connections with gilded pins
or operating via an external ISOBUS terminal.
Sturdy substructure
The stainless steel substructure manufactured by Einböck is designed for high stability and a long service life. Precisely machined components are assembled and bolted together with a perfect fit, ensuring long-term, reliable performance.
The right seeding roller for every seed
The right seeding roller is available for every seed type and seed rate. A variety of seeding roller options allows the dosing to be individually adjusted for fine or coarse seeds, as well as for different seed rates. This ensures that the seed is metered precisely and evenly.
The seeding rollers are particularly easy to access and can be changed quickly and easily. Even when the seed tank is already full, the roller can be changed with ease.
The air stream blowing the seeds to the distribution plates is produced either electrically, hydraulically or mechanically, depending on requirements.
- Electric double fan (12 volt; up to 6 m / 20ft working width)
- Powerful E-POWER electric double fan (ISOBUS socket or battery cable)
- Mechanic fan with PTO shaft (more than 6 m / 20 ft working width)
- Hydraulic fan (optional requirements: pressure free return line, maximum capacity of the oil pump must not exceed 50 litres per minute; recommendation: independent hydraulic valve or load sensing system)
- Mechanic fan, directly attached to the PTO-shaft of the tractor
Various sensors are available for determining speed:
- The tractor’s data can be retrieved via the 7-pin signal socket (e.g., speed information and lift signal are supplied by the tractor)
- Via the ISOBUS terminal (only with ISOBUS-Version)
- Wheel sensor for the support wheel or tail wheel (upper link sensor also required)
- Radar sensor (upper link sensor also required)
- GPS sensor (upper link sensor also required)
Calibration plate
A big calibration pan ensures easy and uncomplicated calibration and adjustment of the seeding box. The parking position on the box guarantees a quick calibration test.
The MULTI-BOX tank, including the attached base, has the following dimensions:
- 350 L with 8/16 outlets: Height 127 cm / 50″, width 73 cm / 28.70″, and depth 108 cm / 42.50″
- 600 L with 8/16 outlets: Height 148 cm /58.30″, width 86 cm / 33.90″, and depth 135 cm / 53.10″
- 350 L with 12/24 outlets: Height 130 cm / 51.20″, width 73 cm / 27.70″, and depth 108 cm / 42.50″
- 600 L with 12/24 outlets: Height 151 cm / 59.40″, width 86 cm / 33.90″, and depth 135 cm / 53.10″
The unit can be mounted on various machines using a base plate with versatile bolting options.
Various other sensors
Additional optional sensors enhance safety, efficiency, and accuracy during operation.
- Sensor for tank level control: Alerts the operator early enough when the seed volume is running low. The sensor operates independently of vibrations, ensuring reliability in monitoring.
- Fan speed sensor: Monitors the hydr. or mechanic fan’s speed, thereby supporting trouble-free and safe operation.
A calibration button on the tank enables the calibration test to be done directly on the machine.
Mounting kits & steps for filling for Einböck machines
For Einböck machines such as tine weeders, row-crop cultivators, rotary hoes, rotative weeders, field cultivator, grassland weeders, etc. a mounting kit including steps for filling are available. Due to the universal mounting bracket, the seeding boxes can also be mounted on many machines of other producers.
